Veterinary Technician Student Internships

Jergens Equine offers internships for veterinary technician students who are interested in advanced equine medicine and surgery. Internships can vary in duration, but we encourage a minimum of two weeks. Our technician internship program is very educational and interactive. Interns will work alongside doctors and offer assistance with out-patient and hospitalized cases. Our internship provides a unique opportunity for veterinary technician students to gain a great deal of practical experience in a clinical equine private practice and observe the daily operations of an equine hospital.

Our internship application process typically will require an online interview and in-person working interview. Applicants must have experience with horse handling and proper restraint techniques.
