Amy Jergens
DVM, DACVS

Dr. Jergens is staff surgeon for Jergens Equine and specializes in sports medicine and surgery. Dr. Jergens obtained her veterinary degree at the University of Illinois. Afterwards, she completed an internship at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington, KY and a surgical residency at Peterson and Smith Equine Hospital in Ocala, FL.
After completing her veterinary and surgical training, Dr. Jergens was an assistant clinical professor of sports medicine and surgery at the University of Minnesota in St. Paul, MN. Dr. Jergens is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons.

Doug Jergens
ACEqD

Doug Jergens is the staff dentist at Jergens Equine. Doug attended the Academy of Equine Dentistry in Glenns Ferry, Idaho. He received Certification for Equine Dentistry (CEqD) and then became Advance Certified in Equine Dentistry (ACEqD).
After completing dentistry training, Doug became an instructor at the Academy of Equine Dentistry.

Chelsea McMullen
Veterinary Technician

Chelsea McMullen graduated from Bel-Rea institute in 2021. She is working towards becoming a CVT. She has a special interest in sports medicine, which has grown out of 15 years of horseback riding and experience with rehabilitation of her event horse Dillon. She enjoys hiking with her two heelers, Aurora and Beau. She also enjoys archery with her compound bow!

Maddie Pringle
Veterinary Assistant

Maddie Pringle is pursuing an Animal Science degree at Colorado State University, with a minor in Military Science. She plans to attend veterinary school upon earning her Bachelor’s degree, so she can achieve her lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian. When she completes her undergraduate education, Maddie will commission into the United States Army as an officer, where she hopes to join the Army Vet Corps while she attends veterinary school.
Maddie grew up in Northern Colorado and enjoys all outdoor activities including hiking, camping, hunting, and shooting.
